About the founder

Carrie Goslin, PA-C, MMSc

Carrie founded Bridge the Gap Medical to improve access to specialized care after an injury, especially for people in rural Georgia, and to give every patient a clear, accurate record of their care from the first visit.

She is a practicing physician assistant with more than eight years in orthopedics and interventional spine, with a background in orthopedic surgery, sports medicine, rehabilitation and injury care.

Carrie practices under the supervision of Daren Newfield, MD, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and her supervising physician on file with the Georgia Composite Medical Board. They work closely together, drawing on their combined orthopedic experience and professional relationships across the orthopedic and spine communities.

Through Personal Injury Telehealth, she evaluates injured patients by video and reviews their MRI findings with them. She also serves as a clinical liaison through the treatment process, helping patients understand their injuries and coordinating appropriate referrals to orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, physical therapists, rehabilitation providers and other specialists when they are medically indicated. Those services are delivered by independent providers.

Separately, she prepares independent Medical Case Analyses for attorneys, with physician radiology opinions attributed to their authors. The two services are kept apart, and she never analyzes a case for anyone she has treated.
