Launching soonOrthopedic and spine injury care by video, for people across Georgia.

Who we serve
People injured in accidents, anywhere in Georgia.
We will see people with neck, back, joint and other musculoskeletal injuries after motor vehicle collisions and other accidents, who are located in Georgia at the time of their visit.
Our focus is on communities where an orthopedic or spine specialist is hard to reach. If you can join a video call, you can be seen.
Eligibility details and visit fees will be posted before booking opens.
How appointments work
Two video visits, with complete notes at each step.
Appointment 1
Comprehensive injury evaluation
- The accident and how you were injured
- Your symptoms and how they have developed
- Relevant prior medical history
- An examination appropriate to telehealth
- Supported diagnoses and an evidence-based assessment of how the injury occurred
- Treatment and diagnostic recommendations, including imaging when needed
Appointment 2, when an MRI is indicated and obtained
MRI review and follow-up
- A review of the MRI findings with the patient
- How the findings fit the symptoms and earlier exam
- Updated diagnoses and causation assessment
- Updated treatment recommendations and next steps
Physician-supervised
Carrie Goslin, PA-C, provides your care under the supervision of board-certified orthopedic surgeon Daren Newfield, MD.
Scheduling
Each visit is scheduled individually, including some after-hours times. Both visits are by video only.
Beyond the evaluation
Coordinated next steps, so you're not on your own.
Many injuries need more than one visit and more than one kind of care. Carrie serves as your clinical point of contact: she explains your findings, recommends next steps, and helps arrange appropriate referrals through the professional networks she and Dr. Newfield have built in orthopedic and spine care.
The goal is fewer gaps between appointments and less guesswork about where to go next.
When medically indicated, we help coordinate
- Orthopedic surgery consultations
- Neurosurgical evaluations
- Interventional spine treatment
- Physical therapy and rehabilitation
- Additional imaging
- Other specialty care
These services are provided by independent outside providers, not by Bridge the Gap Medical. You choose your providers, and appointment availability is set by each provider.
Our documentation standard
A clear, accurate record from the very first visit.
Every visit follows the same structured, quality-controlled process, and each note keeps three kinds of information distinct.
What you tell us
Your account of the accident, symptoms and history, recorded as reported.
What your records show
Prior records and imaging reports, identified by source.
What the clinician finds
Examination findings, clinical reasoning, diagnoses and plan, signed by the clinician.
Every note reflects the actual clinical findings. No diagnosis, causation conclusion or imaging finding is decided in advance.
